Magic Skin Balm absolutely saved my skin during radiation. My doctor normally gave his patients Miaderm but his supply was depleted. I heard about Magic Skin Balm from another woman with breast cancer. She swore by it so I gave it a try. It works! I put it on every night before bed and wore an old t-shirt to bed. I had no blisters, no burns and very little itching. This stuff is fantastic!
Weird Chemo Hair
Are you dealing with wiry, weird, chemo hair? I got a Keratin Express Smoothing Treatment once my hair was about 2 - 3 inches long all over. I used this product before cancer to calm my naturally frizzy hair. It completely changed the texture of my unruly chemo hair.
Growing Eyelashes and Eyebrows
I highly recommend Latisse to anyone who is finished with chemo and radiation and needs a little extra help growing those eyelashes and eyebrows. I managed to hang on to a few lashes and brow hairs throughout chemo but once I started radiation, they all fell out completely. Once they started growing back, I got a prescription for Latisse from my doctor and voila! My lashes are growing and are actually LONG. I also apply it to my eyebrows to help thicken them up but still rely on a brow shadow to enhance them. Latisse is not cheap but it works. I have also heard Rapid Lash works well, too.
